Angélica Leonor Mejía Maradiaga

Angélica and her husband, Reynaldo, have two children, Brian (22) and Nicole (18). Angélica has a merchandising degree from UNITEC, a private university in Tegucigalpa. In 1999, she and her husband graduated from Baxter Institute. Their first mission work was in a children’s home in Chihuahua, Mexico. After a year they returned to Baxter where she worked as the English teacher and librarian. Two years later they returned to mission work in Puebla, Mexico. While there she obtained her English teacher’s diploma and a diploma in the field of dealing with depression among children and teens. Currently, she works at Baxter as the English teacher and also is in charge of the women’s program. She is in her second year at this position.
